DigSquid 0
If he's the expert in auto photography, who took those excellent pictures? I'm the one driving, he's the one leaning out his window with a camera Laser blue? Looks great! Yes! I think it's a great color
Justin182 11
Took the car out for a few miles earlier on and grabbed some pics, nothing fancy.. The road was awesome though!
douglasgdmw 4
Cair O'Mount - quality road. Bet the Evora was nice over that one. Did you pick it up at the weekend? Hope you did not ground out the front Cheers George
Justin182 11
George, no bother with any grounding. Maybe I wasn't going fast enough! Yeah got it on Saturday.

Captain 1
Nice spec! Do you have a custom engine cover?
Justin182 11
Nice! I notice you've also taken off your rear badge
Bibs 11,659
I noticed the engine cover on Monday and wondered if the factory had an experimental car there, it was very exciting! Mykadams 0
Rear badge went off during handwashing... The engine cover is a joke, really expensive joke. Not lighter than the OE one, paint job is awfull, I will send some pics of it. Really don't know what is it made for.
Bibs 11,659
Roof looks lovely though, goes very well on the car Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators. Myfavedave 2
Is the black roof a custom paint job or something Lotus can do? I like it!
Mykadams 0
I didn't like the Carbon Grey the first time that I saw one at my dealer. Now I really love this color ! Very "chic" ;-) No paint job, no factory work. Just a gloss black 3M vynil. Wanted to try before a paint job... The vynil will never look like a paint, and really fragile when you wash it. You have twirls and so on... But the paint job is not reversible. So, I think to keep the vynil on the roof, and I odered 2 mirrors caps to paint them. As this, I could go back OEM if wished. Myfavedave 2
I don't suppose someone could photoshop a gloss black roof onto a chrome orange Evora for me... (I'm thinking you Justin...!) I'd love to know how that would look.
Justin182 11
I've tried it, and really didn't like it if I'm honest. I like it on the grey as its a bit more subtle.
Myfavedave 2
Fair enough, I thought it would either be amazing, or too much!

Myfavedave 2
Good find! I kind of like the roof that colour... but also quite dislike it at the same time...!
bingoking 268
I would like it if it was only the roof section painted black which then flows into the black surround of the rear window. Why they did the rest of the tail gate I don't know, it spoils it and looks messy from the rear 3/4.
