A few shots of Dexter and the gorgeous Scottish scenery on my recent week touring around. A wonderful 1,060 miles of Dexterness over a week; with one day doing 250 miles of the amazing single track A-roads up in Sutherland. Wonderful Scotland. Awesome car.

The fit isn't as good as the older Parrot Asteroid Smarts in previous Evora(S) due to some specific metal supports designed for the OEM Alpine, plus the surround had to be cut to fit the slightly larger unit. I just couldn't live without TomTom + HD Traffic

The unit is from carjoying they make a number of units based around the common android platform offered by a number of companies. They use their own firmware though, it's a lot faster than my previous Evora S's Parrot unit but the sound requires a little tweaking to get the balance between door speakers and sub, as the sub output is mono so you need to use the rear output and fade the sound slightly towards the rear to get the balance.

Overall I prefer it to the Parrot in every way accept sound quality..... But you can't have everything for less than £300

Cheek of it, bloody panzer in the picture  you could have backed the GTE out and got a piccy of the 2 of them

By Panzer you mean benchmark? 996 feels faster but doesn't handle as well although it's pretty good.

Agreed, great traction out of corners which the Evora can't match either, ask Internets.

Love those door cards. out of interest, where do the window and mirror switches reside?

I longed after that car whilst it was for sale - it's just drop dead gorgeous. Nice one.

The blue Panzy next to it just looks so, well, errrr, plain Jane to be honest. After an Evora i don't think I could lust after a normal Panzy 911 again (I do think the new model targa's, and the, think it was 993 targa's - with the glass sliding roof look OK. The 911 Turbo looks special too, as does the various GTs, but the plain Panzies - nah.........)

Blimey, just realised we have had our Evora nearly a month and not shown it off yet.  Its a 2009 Launch edition, so all the toys, and forged wheels.  Here it is on its own and with out Esprit GT3, both great cars, both special in their own special way

@Trevskedmassive congrats!!! - truly an awesome unique car (if I read the adverts of Lotus Greenville correctly the other two existing GTS are for sale but without a road reg. :-)

My cousins very excited six year old son just before being taken for a drive the other day. Never panicked once, grabbed for a door handle or any other scaredy cat move, despite taking a blast up a great twisty road. The same could not be said for my cousin regarding the same route. 

Got a text later which said the wee mans comment after I dropped him off was, "I felt like we were Dom and Brian in fast and furious!!!!".
