The Evora 2+0 is indeed a rare and beautiful beast. Some even think they are on the verge of extinction, but here, we have captured one in its natural environment, in the wilds of Knockhill in Scotland....

Oh yes, and that is me in front of that Ferrari 458 Challenge..... I pulled over to let it past so I could hear the engine.....

Looks great.  I see you still have your wheel centres in for the photo time anyway.  You aren't trying hard enough!  I've lost the front ones twice now on track and have been told a common problem if not retained better.

Where did you get your helmet in the end?  Turner Autosport? I went there on Wednesday on the way back from the scouting run for Sunday but they didn't have anything in my fat heid size at all and were awaiting deliveries.   So still without xmas pressie.

Thanks Jay. It matches your Account profile too!  Funny, but you're so right, the R8 just looks plain. It was a v10 and to be honest when I was stood on the pit lane, and it went past it was, errr, totally uninspiring. The R8 V10 sounds great in a car park when it is started up, but on the track, nah.....  Sounded dull. Guess it was just a standard V10 exhaust.

I've never been a huge fan of the V10 sound on any car really. Maybe I've just gotten used to the sight of them but an R8 just doesn't "wow" me, in any flavour. The general public go nuts for them but I felt they were a "very good" car, but not one I'd necessarily bend over backwards to own. The proportions seem a little off to me too, very wide car and not very long, but lots of body with nothing really going on (eg the bonnet, very flat and boring).

I've driven both V8 and V10, neither of them quite did it for me. Really "nice" cars and I wouldn't kick one out of bed, but just don't communicate with me. Not sure why.

Nothing up with it at all.

It's a front splitter from @TBD on here. Helps push the front down and protects the front bumper too.

Splitter looks great from every angle apart from low down front - I agree though, from that angle looks strange. But it is easily removed and has already saved my front bumper lip twice from aggressive speed bumps so I can live with it and a future owner can whip it off in around 30 minutes too.
