I have also Komotec Evo-Ra kit and a Nitron suspension set, but both not yet fitted.

And perhaps a black stripping like the GTE, still thinking ;-)

Love the front bumper/splitter - anyone know if it went through a windtunnel during the design phase? Or how much it would cost as an aftermarket option?

Thanks for the positive comments, I love the color. I had not noticed the reflectors were for the US only market. I think they fit in pretty well actually. Someday I'd like to get the engine hatch louvers and the scoops for the side intakes.

Nice looking car Josh. Are you sure that's British Racing Green? It looks very dark, more like Empire Green as used on the Lotus Carlton.

Here's a BRG pic I found online:

And this is Empire Green:

relating to the first picture: lotus changed the "BRG" - I think starting with My 12 (but i am not quite sure, might be MY11) the second picture shows a "one-off" color not a standard color (I think it was advertised like that and had belonged to a lotus rep - if I remember...)

Well looks like I will have to bite the bullet and get the full black painted roof after looking at that red GTC and others. I was hoping to do it in vinyl first as a trial in case I don't like it but so far not getting anybody who can do in a single piece and I do not want joins. I may just have to join a yellow Evora up these ways and get it sprayed.

So far I have played at a minor level only and had the wing mirrors sprayed black, changed the door lock pop ups and surrounds and the rear light cluster trim rings for the 2012 black ones and had the rear badges painted to remove all the chrome. (Not a cheap brain fart if doing properly!)

Also at great expense had the brake callipers painted red correctly. (No, I am not driving an S but like black trim with red cars!) By that I mean not talking an afternoon with a can of red Smoothrite!

Excuse the poor quality but reduced files and the non driveway ones were with i-phone at the David Stirling Commando memorial on a fly by the other day when out for a blast. Yes - that is snow on the hills round here already!

Final step I am looking forward to is the winter tyres on the satin black rims to be going on shortly as certainly getting cold enough. However I also like the standard alloys for the summer so the car changes substantially every 6 months.

Lookin' good Al, it'll look amazing with the black roof. Really like the black lettering, I'm sure there are carbon versions of the letters available that they use on the GTE?

Car looks nice and flat on the Ring and what a cracking trio of cars to travel with. I miss my Clio, lots of character. Shame I can't seem to muster enough enthusiasm around here for a similar trip. Let us know if you are planning more.

Trevor.

I'll get around to it at some point.

Nice pics but you've still got all four wheels on the ground ;)

Here are some I took for the S3LOC (boo! hiss!) 2013 calendar competion. Theme is "anniversaries" and mine's a very tenuous link!

There is a LEGS connection to that photo of the tarmac falling away. It was also Matt Becker driving in that shot with Mrs Bingoking in the pax seat grinning away so good luck Justin in keeping up!! :harhar:

Yes, the black bits were done through MMC and the lo-res shot does not do the black lettering justice. I actually got the idea from a shot way back of a DB car coming off the production line.

As far as the ring is concerned - one day, one day, but good looking shots.

One of the directors at Lotus had a special edition dark green Evora with tan interior. Was apparently based on a shade of green they used in the 60s if I remember rightly. If it also has a small union jack decal at the back under the wing, then it is his (although that might have been removed). Anyone know where it ended up?

It's in the hands of one of our members from Greenwich, SE London. It was loaned to Bob Lutz I believe for his work on the Advisory Council.

Lousy weather to have picked up the car! Sunny Aberdeen area I guess? Come along and join up on the LEGS section and we can see you out sometime, join what seems like half the Evora's that have been sold to date in the UK!.

Strange how the Chrome orange looks bleached somehow in the photos. I have seen my camera do that before as well.
