TdM 192
Interesting, is that not a US spec car? Reflectors on the wheel arches...
Bravo73 1,339
ISTR that all Ev400s came like that. FWIW, that particular car used to belong to a TLFer (who has now gone over to t’other side). It is definitely a UK spec car.

You might be able to drive it in ? but not be able to get out of it!!! As a slightly elderly individual I have the door fully open to get in/out, luckily my main garage has enough room to open both doors inside. At my last house I had a 5 car garage and another for 1 car plus some stuff.

Gold FFM C8RKH 6,406 Posted January 20 Gold FFM Report Share Posted January 20 I've noticed this on many Evora's now. I don't think this looks right - the tram line re the body ridge and the black sill. Is this intentional from Lotus or is it poor factory alignment? Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies! The first guy to ride a bull for fun, was a true hero. The second man to follow him was truly nuts! Gold FFM Techyd 244 Posted January 20 Gold FFM Report Share Posted January 20 Initially, I thought poor alignment, but you can see it keeps a consistent gap between it and the shark fin protection above it, so it could well be intentional. If if followed the crease, it would get so close as to leave a tiny slither of yellow between them which might not look nice when standing back and viewing the side of the car. A bigger gap allows that pinched design to still be conveyed.
Likuid 124
Hmm weird, mine is right against the line, but mine was not done in factory. I had black pack done at dealer and they painted roof, mirrors and added black wrap to the under door area.
cdco 49
Slightly different tack for a minute , found this photo in my archives (I've really run out of things to do in lock down) it would appear I've been thinking of Evora's for quite a while . This one's a bit different to standard even back in 2010 ... Anyone know anything ?

cdco 49
Scotty I don't think so , from memory it was with one of the race teams and not far from a Lotus "display" also the AU plates I think suggest a factory link ? The display ...
scotty435 1,118
Agree probably a factory car, but it is definitely missing the sports pack, unpainted callipers and none drilled discs.

As such it will create some serious additional down force and more than make up for the sports pack "performance gains". It would maybe explain why it was around/being run by one of the factory teams. Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. Popular Post TomE 277
My Evora hasn’t left the garage for 3 months and I haven’t left the house for 2 weeks, so decided we both needed to make an “essential journey”. I’d almost forgotten how much I love driving this car. And again I have people of all ages taking a positive interest.
