I'd try flat into left, lift, then flat to apex climbing the hill ... 'stuff a cork in" and try reducing the amount of lift. Quote Phil Leave me alone I know what to do - I think. Popular Post Jovver
I was originally planning to have some stone chips on the bonnet and front wings sorted out, but one thing led to another and I eventually decided to have the entire car resprayed and the sills and front splitter painted in the Sports Racer look. I also had a new front grill installed, but not after throughly coating it with a few applications of PlastiDip, hopefully that will help to protect it from the elements in the winter. Thanks to the guys at Option 1 Sports Cars in Bromsgrove who did an absolutely fantastic job! It probably hasn't looked this good since it left the factory... https://www.option1sportscars.co.uk I just need to have the PPF reapplied once the paint has properly hardened in a couple of weeks along with the rear badges (or more likely decals as I think they're easier to keep clean). And a new front numberplate... I've lost interest in the Emira, particularly in view of the latest economic forecasts, so I think the Evora is a longer term keeper now. Depending on what happens over the next few months, I may think about adding a more focussed open top 'weekend' car at some point, possibly a V6 Exige, but I always fancied an Atom... Wet lap was a bit more nerve wracking than normal. The car felt good really good, and got so much attention throughout the trip which is really saying something when you can’t throw a stick without hitting a 911 GT3 (or a GT2) or lots of other machinery costing 3 or 4 times as much. Did you car come out of the carousel without any grounding?

No issues whatsoever with grounding on the carousel, and in fact the softness of the suspension meant that it was not skipping about over the concrete joints. Also if you know the mini carousel, there can be quite a jerk as you come out but the suspension took the edge off that. All in all it was a lovely drive round. I’ve been round faster in Meganes but this was certainly more of an occasion and I didn’t feel that I needed to push anywhere near any limits to feel satisfied.

Popular Post Phillv6
Decided I hadn’t been out for a decent drive for a while, so once the rain stopped thought I do a couple of hours run yesterday 😀, even though the car was pretty dirty it still photographed well 👌 Edited September 5, 2022 by Phillv6 6

Gold FFM EuropaSman Posted September 13, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted September 13, 2022 Yes, that was my Elise. I'll check the diary regarding Appleby Magna. It'll get darker even earlier so you can show me your lit up engine bay then 😉. 1 Quote Lover of everything Lotus Cars and proud owner of production Evora No.75 (2nd UK customer specced car by VIN).
