My new acquisition. Can't believe I've finally got one!

Are we talking about Racing Green Lotus'?  Here's the most recent one of it being clean, at Caffeine & Machine. 8,300 miles in five months means it's rarely clean!

Some impressiones from the Nürburgring 26-27.07.20 (driver corse XL Nordschleife) in the third photo you can see the vehicles of my training group there were a total of 20 groups.

Lovely.

Now make a video of your valved exhaust, there's a good lad

Lovely job :)

Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate.  Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies!

The first guy to ride a bull for fun, was a true hero. The second man to follow him was truly nuts!

Blue seems to work with the Essex and the Martini strips .

I don't like this. In the flesh I think it cheapens the car. But that is my subjective opinion only.

Those wheels and that colour are one of the very best combinations - although I like the red callipers to set off the wheels.

Cleaning the inside of your exhaust pipe may be a step too far !

I had mine in for a detailing last time home and went to collect it and the junior lad in the place said that the Exhaust had become a personal target for him that day as he was determined to get it clean.  Took him over an hour.  I actually thought he had removed black paint at first as I don't think I've ever seen it anything else!!

Hasn't lasted tho' with a mix of Sport on and giving it the beans on short journeys....... :no  :driving:  :hrhr:

Rather him than me as I'm on Dave C72's OH's side there.  I just can never be bothered with all the faff and time wasting.  I can ALWAYS find something else I'd rather do.

lol.

The exhaust lasted, maybe, 2 mins of driving.  Just made me happy to see it all shiny.

It doesn't get the full four hours every week end, about every six weeks.  Just about 90 mins other week ends.

I really enjoy it though, and as I said previously - I genuinely find it de-stresses me, almost like meditation...

... Right, off to light some joss sticks and bang some really small gongs and cymbals whilst chanting... not.

Looks great Dave, perfect combo - Carbon Grey and D/cut Design Wheels.

I also find cleaning cars somehow therapeutic. What's the sticker on the back of your car? (not the GB one ;) )

Thanks Jimbo - high praise coming from you :)

That's "White Rabbit Racing" - the idiots I go to Le Mans and other Motorsport events with.  Strap line "Putting the Car back in Carbon Footprint".  Basically a bunch of petrol fanatics who shake off responsibility, the adult world and "regress" when together.

Looks and sounds like a similar (albeit a more professional) group that I organise for boys tours/road trips.

We're planning for Le Man's next year and would be interested in what is on offer. We used Team Langoustine last time but this looks like a good option.

Looks lovely Andy, congrats. Re-trim or new SR front seats?

That's the Sport Premium interior. The SR simply uses the seats from that option pack and replaces a lot of the leathered interior panels with Suedetex.

Ah ha, OK, thanks Jimbo was not aware :) Think it looks great and I prefer the leather over the Suedetex of the SR to be honest.

Thanks everyone, I love it to bits it really is a special car. I am loving the ips too it's like it has to completely different natures the very sedate 'D' and rather angry 'sport' even without the flappy paddles sport is great fun.

I am hopefully getting to grips with the paddles too :)

She is a MY12 so the interior was like that from the factory, I think I prefer it to the SR as everything is leather so it wipes clean unlike the Suedetex I had in my last exige. Quite important with a little one.

Today I booked her in at Oakmere to have a quick once over, she had a service last Thursday at another dealer but I would like a quick once over with my local guys to check software etc.

While its in I am tempted to get all of the rear badges turned to gloss black for a bit of a stealthy look, what do people think? Good idea or tacky?
