TheKevlarKid
It does indeed look good in red. Only thing I think I'd do is paint the rear wing black to tie in with the splitter and side boards.

mcx
Looks great, esp like the splitter detail. I don't think it looks like a tarts handbag.. ... well maybe a very tasteful one..
Jmanji
Andy, have the 2ubular pipes been fitted? very interested to see what you think on the power difference once the re map has also been done. Did you say you are also fitting the cai? The car looks Fantastic and is as we all know the best colour, mine has also a few large stone chips that have caused laquer to peel. I can't argue with that, obviously. Who's the detailer Andy? Still need to get mine done. On the bright side Gary from MMC emailed me today and my mass airflow sensor woes have been fixed and she's all good for collection on Friday. (He also found, identified and fixed some other issues without being asked, always a plus) Thank ****, haven't had any good use out of the car for three weeks now, miss driving her. Jmanji
I would like to say the carbon fibre hk fever GTE wing looks great in my humble opinion especially once I added the 's' rear diffuser. I would also agree that the n/a diffuser was not aggressive enough and it did not Seem as balanced.
Gold FFM C8RKH Posted July 27, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted July 27, 2016 @Jmanji - Nope - still not fully convinced but the main thing is as long as you are happy! Headers have been fiited and mated to the Lotus Sports exhaust and OMG what a difference. loving it... @Stuno1 - yes, I agree re the stripe on the barge boards - that's Saturday mornings job when I get back home @TheKevlarKid - nope - If i had the black roof then maybe, but not without it Totally, totally, disappointed with you lot - thought you were all smart, observant, car geeks. Not one spot / mention about the fettling to the rear diffuser and grills! Craig Moncrieff was in two minds when i told him to do it. General consensus when fitted was, err, well, err, not sure mate. But after a few looks it started to become a grower on me and others. At £85 a cheap mod but one that makes the car mine and so easy to put back again - mesh grills and whole diffuser. @Colin G - congrats mate, she still looks a stunner even though you've been using her for a few months. Lovely car matey. Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies! The first guy to ride a bull for fun, was a true hero. Jmanji
So back to the headers what's the actual difference??? What's it like,,, is it faster, louder, do you hear more cabin noise. dont mean to go on, but it's a lot of dosh and im weighing up my options. Colin G
@C8RKH it's exactly because I *am* a smart, observant car geek I felt it better not to mention the rear grilles. They're a bit .......... er ............. how can I put this nicely? Halfords 90's boy racer! Knowing Craig, I find it hard to think he approved.

Gold FFM Popular Post C8RKH Posted July 28, 2016 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 I'm locked in my secret bunker with a years supply of Spam fritters, beans and Chablis. You ain't getting anywhere near me. Though after 12 hours on the Spam fritters I now realise the bunkers air reconditiong units need a serious upgrade! @Jmanjithe headers have had a tremendous effect on the noise. Instantly noticeable and just put the most boyish cheesey grin on my face. With the windows down, the only way, just wow. People outside definitely hear a difference ahead and look around to see what is coming as you pootle in 2nd at 25mph through town. I've only had one blast in her, the 60 miles home from Craig that ended up taking 3.5 hours! The car felt lighter. By that I mean she just felt more eager, more responsive, more willing to go. Lazily accelerating from 40mph in 4th just felt faster. Craig informed that I would notice a difference in steps - immediately, then in roughly 2 to 4 steps of around 150 miles each as the ECU learned the new headers and adjusted. With my Lotus Sport exhaust I thought I detected a slight drone at a steady 70mph, but with the windows up, on the Motorway, bored senseless at that speed, I'd probably be blasting Jedwards the "best off" and "greatest hits" on the stereo. So fine by me. Accelerating hard, it's just a cacophony of sound, a collision of snarls and growls, a riot of pops and farts on the over run. A lot of money you say. Hell yes. Worth it? To me, yes. But then she's a little dirty mistress on the side who I take out for a damn good thrashing and some rip roaring unfettered fun! If she was a DD that I was looking to change in 12 or 18 months, then no way, not worth it. I'm going to let the new headers settle in. In the spring, probably off to Hangar 111 for the Komotec carbon CAI and the ecu map. I'm hoping for a reliable 310 bhp at that stage. I've thought long and hard re a 400. But realised I could put the extra £40k needed into another toy. A RED Elise 220/250 Cup on 50:50 would see me invest roughly half the upgrade cost to the 400 and I'd still have Scarlett too. I'd have two red devils in the garage and would possibly be one of the luckiest fat [email protected] on the planet! So. After parting with the cash for the headers, do I regret it? Hell no. Was it worth it? Hell yes. Does the wife have any freakin' idea on the cost and that they have been changed? Hell No! If I get the chance will post up some sound clips when I get home this weekend. 4 Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0.
