Gold FFM mayevora Posted October 12, 2012 Gold FFM Report Share Posted October 12, 2012 Can you get one set to last aprox 18 hours a day for 5 years though? Maths work out at a shade over 8p per day give or take! Wish they'd give me an option of setting up a DD for 8p per day than a one off £160 though, Quote Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut! ramjet
Ian, I presume you removed the S bend under the sink and checked it? All sorts of crud end up in those and it may have got trapped there. Quote All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit. Gold FFM mayevora Posted October 13, 2012 Gold FFM Report Share Posted October 13, 2012 Yeah, It was an option but its all tiled and hidden away so more hassle than it was worth really. And like you say the amount of chod that a ubend accumulates, I'm not sure I'd want it back in my eye after lol. ramjet
Oh. Sink and basin S bends can't be buried here. Got to be accessible. I'd thought about whether you would want it back in your eye as well. Quote All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit. ramjet
Wow. Most people have it young and grow out of it to a degree. I've never heard of anyone becoming an asthmatic once they are older. Hope it's only a temporary thing. Not an allergy to something new in your area? Mark Blanchard
No, not that I know of. My Dad got it in 40s too, so probably hereditary. Pain in the arse though, stay away from dust, keep out of the cold and no more cigars. Guest Mutley00
STMBO went out for a 2 hour blast in the Peaks in her Elise, then it was my turn in mine. This lasted all of 15 mins before the alternator gave up the ghost, just as I got to the 'Welcome to the Peak District sign!'. As a mark of sympathy, my wife placed the call to Green Flag, but as I was dropped off by the kind mechanic, he confided in me that he could barely understand my wife when she placed the call as she was laughing so much. Revenge will be mine sometime, somehow......
rogerch
Well not today, 5 days ago now, just took me this long to talk about it, I visited the genocide museum and killing feilds here in Cambodia. I've never witnessed anything as teribble, I took a picture of a [oster at the genocide musem, made of a collauge of portrait photographs of just some of the people who were turturedand died there, some were only children. Ileft chocking back the tears, I can't begin to discribe, how teribble it was to witness such inhumanity. Quote Life is like a sewer, what you get out of it, depends on what you put into it. Guest Mutley00
We avoided the museum for the very reason you state Roger, but we didn't escape the horror completely. Whilst our lovely guide was showing us round Ankkor Wat she confided in us that her Dad had dug what he though was an irrigation channel, only to be bludgeoned to death from behind once he'd dug it. She found out from a neighbour who was stood next to her Dad at the time and miraculously survived a similar blow. How anyone (let alone their own people) could impose such a regime on a people as lovely as the Cambodians beggars belief.
basalte
....and how the USA could support the Khmer Rouge against the Vietnamese-backed Hun Sen government that overthrew the genocidal nutters of Pol Pot also beggars belief...until you realise that at the time the US preferred the Chinese - backed Pol Pot to run Cambodia rather than the Soviet-allied Vietnamese. The USA-Pol Pot covert links go back further, for the same reason. This is not a conspiracy theory, it is documented fact. Of course as usual the lives of the people on the ground are the last consideration in cynical power politics ...just "collateral damage" as they call it, I suppose. ... ramjet
Thought I was just about finished with the birthday for the K75. Not so. Appears that when the clutch cable snapped on me, it may have taken out either the final drive cush rubbers or was the final straw for the clutch pack. I was getting some shuddering for awhile from a standing start. I am now getting more slip than a tub of KY.
