The inner is a Renaul Scenic I think, outer is Lotus specific. Try Lotusbits if you don't want to buy one from Lotus, Mike may well have some in I'd have thought.

the rear wheel bolts are tight, also the brake caliper bolts are fine (as i had one of these vanish an the caliper moved and caught the wheel the other year, makes a similer noise) sounds like the cv that goes into the hub not the gear box i think its a renault fuego just wondering if anyone got a part number

Does the knocking alter with speed ?

Is it louder when you accelerate, or when you lift off ?

Is the heat shield fastened properly ?

The part that goes into the hub (the outer) is Lotus specific. A renault one isn't safe, you'll end up breaking it.

Anyone in the boot?

You had a look and checked to make sure?

Any muffled screaming along with the knocking?

I'd take a look, it's always better to make sure it's not the simple things.

Happy to help :bounce:
