Backmarker
Squadron flies home ? We are joining the Midland Breakfast Club at RAF Cosford on Sunday 19th September. As we will be displaying our cars we will need to meet by 8.30am at RAF Cosford itself at the latest. The plan is to meet at the NAAFI store car park which is first right after turning into the access road from the A41. No hanging around otherwise we won't make the display section and instead we'll have to park with the general public ( we must be in place by 9am at the latest ) Not sure how long the day will last, I suppose it depends on how many folks turn up to view. As it's a breakfast club, I would expect to be away by lunch time. Breakfast is available at museum cafe at a modest cost. Also in attendance that day will be the Cheshire Club Lotus although this is NOT a Lotus only event. Check out the gallery on their website . http://www.midlandsbreakfastclub.co.uk/ All attending please sign below: 1. Backmarker
Well not really what I was expecting I wasn't expecting to see Robert Crooks ................... And I wasn't expecting to see him driving an Evora. Good to see you Robert and the Evora certainly attracted lots of attention. Great Lotus turnout. Elises, Elan Sprint, Excel, Robert's Evora and lots of Esprits including High Wing, S4s, V8's, S4, SE and turbo S3 .................. a great showing The wet weather meant the Italian stuff didn't turn out to play. Numbers were therefore lower than usual. Apologies for leaving early without waiting for the crew to return from the museum ................ kiddies football alas Next month is the run to the Cheese Shop in the Hartington Peak District. See you all there and thanks for your support today Wing Commander Dibble DFC

North Midlands Esprit Group

NMEG "the formidable squadron"

"probably the most active Esprit group in the world" Andy Betts, Castle Combe May 2007
