Kimbers 1,781
Sorry to say this is the end of my Lotus fanaticism. It started at the age of 6 when my dad knew where to find me when I disappeared....in the seat of his Elan +2. My baby needs a few bits including insurance and a service and as such, with my daughter at Uni and 2 boys at high school, not to mention another daughter unemplyed, I have decided to get out of the sports car conundrun (life vs enjoyment). I hope i will be back (with an Evora) but if not then please see Guy at Stratton motors and offer him bloody good money on my beloved baby. Quote Possibly save your life. USAndretti42 308
Better to have had a Lotus and sold it than to not have a Lotus at all. I know the feeling, Tony, but your time will come again. Quote S4 Elan, Elan +2S, Federal-spec, World Championship Edition S2 Esprit #42, S1 Elise, Excel SE
Boots 28
Sad news. I know how I would feel if I had to sell mine.
IanQ 1
Kimbers. Life often throws unexpected situations at us all, but hang on in there. I went 14 years without a Lotus or any other second car but I got there in the end. You will have another one someday. rogerch 63
That's sad, I hope you will still be around the forum. There were days when I doubted my physical ability to drive again, much less a Lotus, and here I am enjoying an Esprit, never surrender.
