Windscreen Washers not up to scratch !!

My windscreen washers are pathetic. I can't believe how bad they are with hardly any pressure and with only 2 spray holes to cover the large windscreen it is very difficult to drive when it is raining.

I have checked the system for all the usual things - blockages, bent pipes, 8 volts driving the pump rather than 12 etc, etc.

Has anybody out there found a replacement, more powerful, pump and maybe 2 outlet nozzles instead of the standard single ones?

Any help would be most welcome.

I had the same problem after going from modern cars to the Esprit. I changed mine for some triple jets purchased from local car accessory shop. 6 jets of water now cover the massive screen giving me great coverage. I have set two of the jets to spray higher up the screen to compensate for highspeed use.

They work fine. Changing them is tricky though involves climbing right into the footwell to get to the back of the jets.

You might want to uprate the pump also these can also be found in your local accessory shop for approximately
