mayevora 1,274
Interesting page of stats. Wasn't aware of the cycling penalties. http://www.motorlawyers.co.uk/offences/motoring_offences_maximum_penalties.htm Quote Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut! Bibs 11,410
No insurance is a £200 fixed penalty? I thought they crushed your car nowadays? Otherwise for the average or higher (£880 per annum) policy holder it makes it too financially tempting not to bother. oneshot 155
Did you see traffic cops last night? Interesting one was the guy in a Land Rover towing a trailer with a Land Rover on it. Apparently if the total weight is over 3 tonnes (trailer + car) and it is being used on business then you must have a tachograph. The drivers face when the officer asked to see his tachograph was priceless! He was actually done for no insurance and driving on a provisional licence. Backmarker 6
And your local nick Dave was full of Romanians with lots of credit cards ( pity they were not introduced to the Londoner who needed one ( any one ) to pay for his insurance ) Quote Wing Commander Dibble DFC

North Midlands Esprit Group

NMEG "the formidable squadron"

"probably the most active Esprit group in the world" Andy Betts, Castle Combe May 2007

So I could take a mini digger to a site, and work at the site all day. I could not deliver the mini digger in return for payment
