Radiator and Fuel Tank Repair

I suspect that my S1 radiator needs to be re-cored and I know that my fuel tanks need to be boiled out and sealed. Does anyone know of a good shop they would recommend for this work in Southern California, preferably in the San Diego area?

I called a local shop that a friend with an old 911 recommended to me and was quoted $285 to boil out and seal an average 15 gallon tank, so probably more for my Esprit tanks. This seems high to me. Does anyone have any experience in this area? What should I expect to pay?

That may be a little steep but not too far off for a quality job depending on how bad they are. I've had tanks done at Moyer's Tank Renu and I believe the last time they charged me around $225 per tank and that's with a lifetime warranty against rust. They are well known in Esprit circles in the US. They can repair just about any tank.

If you're up to it and they aren't in bad shape you can do them yourself with a good kit like the one that POR-15 sells. I used this for the last pair I did and they came out great.
