Justin182 11
Look at Polished Bliss website. Best budget Wax I've used is Swissvax Onyx, in fact its superb. Definately recommend it. I've just bought Zymol Glasur, although think I'll go for Swissvax Best of Show next as SV stuff is awesome! http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/natural-carnauba-waxes.html
Bibs 11,414
Tonnes! As a minimum, clay the car to give it a nice clean up, give it a good polish to flatten it out and then a couple of layers of wax will keep it nice all year Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators. Justin182 11
Before waxing, you should really do the full works on the car to get the full benifits. I'd do the following, Wash Clay & De-Tar Wash again Machine Polish Might use a paint cleaner/wax prep. Seal Wax

comem47 245
Wax? Its 12 deg F (-11 deg C) at the moment . Maybe in 2 months time I can wrap my mind around it.
oneshot 155
Like the boss said Zymol - I have Zymol Royale on my car. It was professionally detailed first - paint correction to remove the swirls, clay bar, grease remover and then the wax applied by hand. Quote Dave - 2000 Sport
Justin182 11
Royale! That must have cost a fortune!

comem47 245
Sunny T-shirt weather down in Georgia today. Ah but when it does snow down there you guys don't know what to do and everyone must stay home! We got the proper tools here and can go out (at least that what I tell myself is the reason we have snow like we do so we can stay in practice!!!) (now that I sold my snowmobiles there is no reason for the stuff I guess)

Simon350S 192
I use Simoniz wash and wax one a year if it needs it or not. It's always applied using the industry standard 1 bucket and old sponge technique. Any one else? If I miss a bit then more soapy mix is lovingly applied to the affected areas by hand before being hosed off and left to dry. Sometimes I even drive it before it drys properly, down my bumpy broken dirt track of a drive and the finish after that is simply superb, the dirt and grit flicked up the side looking all speedy n stuff!
