Orange wheels look nice Frank, you could do with a bigger wing though!

Seriously, it compliments the diffuser well from what I can see from the side, very nice.

It really helps balance out the car on corner exit , even with street slicks the power can still make things interesting when stomping on the loud peddle.... The added rear downforce is something I can feel in the real world....

Does the large wing make my butt look big ?

I think it's fast enough…maybe

It's certainly got an aggressive angle set so will work at relatively low speeds. Those supports look like a work of art, I assume they are bolted onto the rear subframe rather than the rear clam?

I have it set at 10*AOA for the twisties, I can lower it to 4*AOA for the track and higher speeds....

There is a sub brace welded to the chassis and then the wing is bolted to it. The wing upright is triangulated and not bolted to the body..

You can read this and get a better idea of my madness... http://www.lotussport.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4286

Good to see aerodynamic experiments in action...then again, after everything else you've done to that machine, it must be the only thing left to play with!! You certainly live up to your name...a samurai with no lord or master.... Stay safe in the canyons....and avoid the minions of the law!

I'm sure you read Frank and indeed do understand, it's not a trip for potential customers and the LT rep was picked in a fair and square way, don't be so precious mate.

Us guys on LotusSport.org weren't even asked that's the point........ Hell I've done more to push the envelope of the Elise/Exige than anyone I know of...

Lotus reads my forum to see what's going on with the gear heads that make this car better/faster but we don't even rate an invitation...

So much for Lotus appreciation of its most ardent supporters......

New Esprit ?

Eh maybe it's time to look at other marks for the next ride, after all it did take alot of work to get this one right...

I think it's fast enough…maybe

I don't see LotusSport mentioned in this thread where I asked people what other sites they use? I don't know every Lotus website in the world and can't be expected to and this isn't a 'reward' trip to either those who wish to buy new cars of those who have pushed performance envelopes, you're making assumptions based on criteria you have absolutely no idea about. Where at all has anyone mentioned, other than you, that this event is in appreciation of ardent support? I and I alone am organising this event as I want to. Lotus have no involvement in who is being asked in the slightest, whatsoever at all.

Your going to turn your back on a new Esprit as you weren't asked on a trip? That's 'precious'...

Bibs I didn't read that thread since I'm interested in making the Lotus a better Lotus [handling/performance] not so much a reader of chit chat..

Lotus have personaly asked me to change postings on my forum...... They do read it.

A quote from Lotus Talk :

What I'm asking in return is that you write a short report with some pics about what you've seen for LotusTalk to convey from the horse's mouth your thoughts on the current and future Lotus. I've asked Tracy along but she can't make it hence me opening it up to you guys, I asked Randy too but he can't make it either.

So you asked two people that sold their Lotus to buy Porsche and Nobles to give their honest opinion on the current and future Lotus...... :wallbash:

We have 710 members and have come up with supercharger kits when Lotus didn't offer one, rear chassis support when Lotus didn't offer one, ecu tuning when Lotus wouldn't offer it, suspension improvments when Lotus didn't offer one, turbo upgrades when Lotus didn't offer one and a gearbox up grades when Lotus didn't offer one. Cosworth electronics want their Pectel SQ6 ecu in my car so that Lotus owners will know what really works and what options are out there. We have helped hundreds of Lotus owners to enjoy the Lotus experience.... [Lifestyle]

Its nothing personal Bibs but its just another reason to think about other options that won't require so much personal input to get what I as a car nut want out of a proper sports car.....

Oh well I'm glad you like the way the wing compliments the diffuser...... :welcome:
