markjonesx 1
I have some new polyurethane bushes for my ARB from SJ. The ARB is 20mm dia, the hole in the bushes is 17.5mm max with little or no give. How the heck do I get them on the ARB? whats the trick? slewthy 249
I lined mine up with the greased hole and the gave the ARB a good whack with a soft faced heavy mallet. Worked fine. Quote "Intellectuals solve problems; geniuses prevent them." Albert Einstein
markjonesx 1
So you had the same part from SJ? What was the diameter of your ARB? rogerch 63
The factory did warn me that I may need to recruit the local rugby team to get them on, but it wasn't that bad. richardvg 3
TRY RUBBER GREASE ,IT WORKS MUCH BETTER ...... remember that when you tighten down, make sure that the bushes are squashed evenly . By the way ,i got the bushes (exact measurement form the original) at a local rubber products place for 50 p each Quote Technically sound ...Theoretically poked !
