markjonesx 1
I have looked at my front suspension, Effectively with the chassis unloaded as I'm in the rebuild phase, the lower wish bone hangs lower due to the spring. Question, whats the best way to attach the ARB? compress the springs first or get the tyres on etc... and get someone to stand on the chassis? peteyg 350
I found fitting the arb to the wishbones then compressing the springs to raise to the point where it bolts to the chassis. Pete Quote Pete '79 S2 LEW Miss September 2009
rogerch 63
Not sure of the mountings on yours, but on my S3 I had the springs/shocks, out fitted the bar to the wish-bones, mounted the springs, then when I dropped the car back down was able to mount the ARB to the chassis. In fact I may have dropped the front axles onto stands to give me clearance to get underneath. Quote Life is like a sewer, what you get out of it, depends on what you put into it.
