USAndretti42
Photo here. Doesn't look too bad in the photo. It's the second time he's had a slip-up with this car as this photo from wreckedexotics.com shows. I imagine they can be a swine to handle in greasy conditions. Probably wouldn't have happened in the MP4-12C because of its electronic aids. Mark Blanchard
He crashed into a tree and lamp post and it caught fire. I'd be surprised if it was still road worthy. Pic from the Sun: Quote Mark www.lotusespritturbo.com

Nelly
Curse of Top Gear maybe? Having said that when Jenson first went on he had not won a race.....and then won the next one! Fair play to him for using it regularly. Edited August 5, 2011 by Nelly9000
chandrew
He crashed into a tree and lamp post and it caught fire. I'd be surprised if it was still road worthy. But I guess given the current values of these things that his insurers would rather pay for a very expensive rebuild over writing the car off. Mark Blanchard
It was only 2 weeks ago on Top Gear he was talking about the value of his F1 (and looking a bit smug about it). How things change. Glad to hear he's ok. Edited August 5, 2011 by Mark B Quote Mark www.lotusespritturbo.com

red vtec
Mclaren will rebuild it, I have seen far worse on a site about a US one that was rebuilt. These cars are to valuable to write off.
