Hi everyone

I have always liked the esprit eversince I had a poster of one on my wall back in the late 70's. Now I am in my fortys I can finally afford one!

I have read all the LEW buying guides but still not sure especially after seeing the V8 bought on fifth gear?I have seen a yellow V8 on the pistonheads website

but it has been there for at least 24 days & the price has been reduced, does anybody know any history of this car & is it worth looking at. Also could someone please recommend a good esprit expert for inspections in the Essex area

Don't know much about V8's at all myself, but see the

ad mentions the liner issue. Have mended the link you

As far as I know, this car was used for "Driving Experience" days .. so whilst not raced, it lived on a track.

Resale value on this car might not be too flash with the roll bar. But then again the price is good.

In fact I think it's so cheap that there is an underlying problem somewhere - maybe wrong.

Anyway, if you see any other cars you take an fancy too, don't forget to mention them so the guys and girls here can maybe point you in thye right direction.

Nev take a look at the sportmotive site they have both a v8 s4s and s4 at the moment havent looked at any but when i have been past them there cars look good and they sponsor the for sale section on LEW

if you want keep your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds:

1. you have passion in work on cars , as some owners of s3 s2.s1 on our forum choose any ESPRIT.

2. but if not! choose a S4 one of the last with a LOTUS dealer to follow her as I do since 7 years.
