Jacking Point

Question to the wise.

One of the metal jack points on the car has come louse and needs to be re-glued into place.

Any ideas which is the best glue to use for this purpose, one that does not attack the body work of course

I would guess some kind of epoxy but wounded if anyone could recommend a make , type etc.

The chemical metal stuff would certainly be worth a look I have used it in marine situations before.

Would be worth a look as it is hard core stuff as long as you check it out first.

I used Araldite on one of mine two years ago and it's still there.

Slight change of thread but when did they start putting jacking points on? AFAK the S2 doesn't have any, does the S3 NA ?

Copy of the page from my owners manuel which illustrates the jack point.

just checked in the parts manual, the jacking points in the picture were not fitted till after 85

also noted the javk is located in a different position
