Morning all!!

So i get back from tesco last night, wedge the esprit in the garage (which isnt an easy procedure!) turn off my lights and they stay up!!

tried the obvious banging of the dash / wings / relays etc but still up.

i gave in and went to the pub. (disconnected battery)

Better than being stuck down i suppose!

Connection come loose in the front compartment near the near-side light?

Relays under the dash loose?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? (Sorry, just had a week of I.T. nonsense)

You can wind them down the bonnet, get your fingers on the back of the light motor and you will find a knob. If you turn this, you can manually rotate the light motor and wind them down, individually. You might find that, with the battery connected, the motors will start working during this procedure. Whatever, you then have to find the electrical fault...plenty of scope for that!! Work logically through the wiring using the diagram...a loose relay or corroded connection or dodgy earth is favourite.
