front fogs on S4

Must be on here somewhere but...

Just put the S4 through the MOT (flew through with no work required, which was not a surprise, but I always find MOT's nevre wracking!)

However, I've noticed that the front fog lens is cracked - did anyone ever get to the bottom of where this comes from or are they Lotus only?

Any tips on changing the lens?

Do a search and you'll find they come from a SAAB. Early-mid 90's. Not sure which model though.

I have a broken lense myself and have been unable to locate one. Jeff at JAE said he would investigate but he forgets quickly because he is so busy. I would be very interested to see what you find out.

Close Dave, just one 0 missing though! Saab 9000 CS to be specific, they where in production from 1993 to around 1998.

I have a whole Saab for sale if anybody wants to buy it for the fog lamps!!!!!

Don't think they're what you are after for your 90 SE, aren't they square?

The Saab one's are S4 onwards which i think started production in 1992/93. S4, S4S, GT3, V8 etc... - Basically all the rounded bumper cars....

Erm are you sure? The RHS on the Saab is the RHS on the Esprit. - Just been out to check!

The Se fogs are a tricky one. No one has ever found which car they came from. Even if you do, the likelyhood of getting hold of them is slim. The non Se fogs are from an Astra2.
