If you get the rare Plexi roof it will replace the roof panel.

The Saratoga Plexi roof (No longer available) made for the SE's has an additional roof mounted lip seal and sub frame that mates in the gutter to form a double seal that prevents leaks.

The later ones made of glass depends totally on the gutter seal for the s4/s4s/V8's will require new seals as the oem grp roof compresses the seals over time so during rain or car washing the glass roof will leak unless a pristine seal that has not yet been compessed by the roof weight and age is used.

Not sure if newer body style hinges will line up but the SE roof should line up with an 88.
