Gotta question;

Does any of you know of an excllent cylinder head machinist in the States? I'm looking to get my cylinder head cleaned up and a radius valve job done on it.

Does any of you know of an excllent cylinder head machinist in the States?  I'm looking to get my cylinder head cleaned up and a radius valve job done on it.

Nearly any engine shop can do it. You should print out all the relavant pages from the Lotus shop manual and take that in with the heads. Highlight all the specs they might need. make sure they ask any questions before doing any work. And make sure that you order any parts from the normal Lotus parts places and supply the parts to the shop doing the work. Do not let them source the parts, or put just any old valve that might fit in.

Know what the maximum allowable amount to machine is, and tell the shop.
