Does anyone have a supplier in the states for all of the coolant hoses on an S2?

I have tried ALL of the usual places with no luck........it's the last thing I need to get the gold beastie back on the road.

For the front hoses coming from the radiator, my car has general-purpose flexible hoses (with a coil inside).

When I am in a situation like yours, I usually go to a parts place (a "real" parts place, not VatoZone or Advance or PepBoys, etc.), and try to match up the hose I need with another one or a section of a longer hose for a different car.

Wish I could be more helpful!

Tony,

Thanks, I will give that a try.

I don't like the "coiled" hoses..............they remind me of something agricultural.

I will go down to NAPA and see what they have.

John,

try JAE.

They offer upgrade tougher hoses for G cars, S2s probably included... tougher, in red or blue though...

As I recall, they should do S2s but call them to make sure.

Hi John

When I re did my gearbox last year I decided to change all the engine bay hoses. I changed these to Samco Silicone Hoses. Much better quality & should last a lot longer. You just need to use your old ones as templates & you may have to make up unusual shaped hoses so as to fit. Only trouble is it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to get them once you've placed your order. However some places do stock most sizes in blue. I can only assume that they have them over there, if not try Demon Tweeks Web site, which is based here in UK. I can email you phot of my engine bay if you like.

John, since you are in the states, you might want to try Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies in Wisconsin for silicone hoses (if you decide to go that route)

Dont forget to order lined hose clamps as well (if you dont want to chew them up)

Heres the Silicone Hosepage from there online catologue at www.pegasusautoracing.com :)

In the UK a good place to buy silicone hose from is JLS Motorsport in West Bromwich

Im pretty sure they stock the Samco hoses Daz mentioned, but they have black aswell (think Im going to use them underneath my car) :)
