New dampers & springs

Following an A service earlier this year I was told that a couple of dampers were misting (one front, one rear) and that they'd need changing soon. I read about the new suspension programme Lotus were running and was holding out for these, However, I can't wait any longer and wish to upgrade soon. I'm budgetiing about

before you go ahead.... are the Lotus ones not due about now. You might regret it if the Lotus ones are available a week later!  Kato: do you know the date the V8 suspension will be made available?

He's not going to be able to get the Lotus ones for 500-600. I don't know what you could get for that much, maybe Spax?

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm glad I raised this with the forum because I think I'll hang on bit longer and try for the new Lotus parts. LEW mentioned the price at

I'm also sure the V8s were the 1st to retail as well becuase all the dampers are built to this spec then altered to the different models.

In the mean time obviously take care, I drove mine with totally shot back dampers and the back end bounced & skipped around all over the place - in hind sight I shouldn't have really been driving it !

Due pretty soon, but that's been the same since March! Lotus are just waiting for the stuff to be made up. I would wait if you can, as setting-up adjustable is really difficult on the Esprit. More trouble than they're worth normally.
