juki75
Hi guys! I'm planning to go with my wife to London next month and also visit the Lotus factory. Can someone recommend a nice (fairly cheap) hotel? Is there a direct route to factory by bus? Thanks Jukka Quote Jukka Angerpuro
gghc87
Jukka, where are you looking to stay? London Norfolk or both? Quote Cliff Men marry women with the hope they will never change. gghc87
The premier inn at the old county hall on the south bank is ok and i have stayed there. Its right next to the London Eye and just over Westminster Bridge from the houses of parliament and Westminster Abbey etc. http://www.premierin...don-county-hall The Train to Norwich goes from London Liverpool Street Station with Greater Anglia Trains and takes about 2 hrs to get there. Its then a taxi to the factory. If you book in advance normally more than a month then is about £16 return per adult. http://www.greateranglia.co.uk/ If you decide to stay over in Norwich then Dunston Hall is close to the Factory and many of us have stayed their http://www.devere-hotels.co.uk/hotel-lodges/locations/dunston-hall.html Quote Cliff Men marry women with the hope they will never change. andydclements
If you go to Norwich station then I'd recommend taking the short train ride to Wymondham station, it's market-town station so not a big hustle and bustle one but it's then a short taxi ride to Lotus cars and I'd strongly recommend spending a little while in Wymondham itself. Go and see one of the oldest smallest pub in the UK http://www.wymondhamgreendragon.co.uk/ and the Abbey http://www.wymondhamabbey.com/ Andy
