Weight saving

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how much weight is saved over the standard parts?

Looking at the following GTN parts;

GRP louvred engine cover

Carbon rear quater panels

Level 1 liteweight stainless steel exhaust

Take out the rear seat, or the foam, net and carpet on tge 2+0, take out the carpets, the ICE and all the other foam pieces, for example behind the pedals and finally the carpet in the trunk andy I'm sure you added more lightness than with all those GTN parts.

Removing the wife or girlfriend from the pax seat gets you another 50 kilo min.

The exhaust will make the biggest difference out of that lot. The carbon quarter lights will save a bit on the glass you have to remove as will changing the glass rear screen for the louvered engine cover.

How about a diet, good way to save weight and money

Yes but easier to save weight on the car before it leaves the factory, getting this stomach to look like i'm 7 or 8 months pregnent has cost me a fortune and i like being able to fold my arms and rest them on my podge

Sue's diet is coming along very well as you would expect of a woman!!! But that is not for me?

Hey, I want that louvered engine cover, too, but I thought they were not selling the parts separately.

Do you have a way to order?

As the louvered engine cover has its own part number ALS5B0006F don't see why you should order as part of the exterior panel kit unless you want all the GTN panels?
