rafphillips
Hi All, I am Raf, I am 32 and live in Somerset. I have recently joined and purchased my 1st Lotus, an Evora. After saving up my pennies for a year and a half (I dont do credit but was very tempted ;-), finally picked one up about a month ago. A few teething issues but all sorted now and loving every minute of it, puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it. Even the Mrs and kids approve of it which is un heard of! All I need now is a Lotus dealer near me for servcing etc and I will be a very happy man. A few pics of my Baby after I had just lovingly applied some layers of wax. Bibs
Interestingly, detailing world had a very clever guy look into layers of wax. If I remember right, the first layer was great, the second didn't add much and any more started to actually erode into the previous layers of wax so the conclusion was that one was enough. Hang on... rafphillips
I did post on the Evora owners section about some issues but never said hi :-) Cheers for the welcome though. Lol, cheers for link, I often refer to detaling world, it's great. When I say wax want I meant to say was, clay bar followed by polish, followed by sealant, followed by wax so only the one layer of wax on top of the sealant.
