Early Evora questions.

Recommended Posts

When do the early Evora warranty's run out? Off the back of the Tracking an Evora thread I thought I would look at early cars with a view to using one regularly and taking it on track so I would like to know of the possible problems/expense I might face doing this. Any advice?

Trevor.

I'll get around to it at some point.

Warranty runs 2 years.

Track issues I've experienced are brake fluid get hot (as for most cars, even 911GT2/3), pads squeak and must be replaced, discs look ugly, centre caps fly away. So nothing serious.

Ok, so we need to look country by country. In Germany, it's just 2 years. UK might indeed be different.

Warranty is 3 years as i am the owner of the Second customers car and i picked up my car from the factory on the 1st of September 2009 i would guess that the warranty runs out on the 1st September 2012.

Thanks guys. Sven, as you say, nothing unusual for any car to suffer those faults and easily rectified. Looks promising but as a track car I think I may wait for the prices to fall a little further as early cars come out of warranty.
