WayneB
Interesting site Cliff ! Like the Sladester, I grew up ogling these cars and have seen a few of them in real life (Buick Le sabre a few times) Loved this period of car design, constant experimentation, outlandish and wild (sometimes bizzare shapes), tons of chrome and badges would have been fun and exciting to work in the car industry in that period! I agree thay left off some stuff though The 1977 Pontiac Phantom The Mako Shark I The Mako Shark II The AeroVette I seem to like most of the stuff that came out of Studio X at GM Design in the Bill Mitchell era. slade
Good ones Wayne! speaking of the Pontiacs and Corvettes... this was always a favorite. Pontiac Banshee Corvette type thing. Stretching it as it was from the 60s. Course I always liked the round canopy Banshee from the 90s too, getting completely off subject Slade Quote "It's called a fire hydrant.
