Spiggsy
Can anyone comment on compatibility with control arms? I just came in need of a rear drivers side, and have found a V8 one available, but have a 90 SE. Thanks.
lotus4s
I believe it will fit and work as the original but am not 100% positive so maybe someone else can confirm. Quote 1995 S4s
Spiggsy
I hate sound stupid but, is the rear lower control arm the same part as the lower wishbone?
sailorbob
The wishbones are not the same as the SE. There are two types of lower wishbones used by the V8 & GT3. The early ones use a parallel front bush and are the same as the S4 & S4S. The later ones use a conical front bush and are probably not compatible with any others. andydclements
Spiggsy. Do you mean for the rear wheel, the (what I know as the) trailing arm or radius arm? Alternatively, do you mean front wheel (I don't think you do but just want to check)
sailorbob
Argh, I didn't even notice the bit about 'rear', I just saw wishbone The radius arm is different but the parts supersede through to the V8 arm (this applies to all turbo models except the early turbo with Compomotive wheels and the S300).
