How to tell a genuine JPS?

Recommended Posts

How do I find out what the chassis numbers were for the JPS S2s to find out if one is original? Is there a list anywhere?

Thanks, Paul.

Can you still get information from Lotus?

REMOVED BY ADMIN have some of the JPS ones listed but not the one I wanted information on. Does anybody have the contact details of Andy Graham please - who is he?

Thanks, Paul.

Paul, anything to do with that website and the idiot that runs it isn't allowed on TLF.

What is the issue with that website? Maybe I'm missing something?

What website? :)

Ian Munro used to have a fairly thorough JPS registry, but unfortunately Ian did not move it to a new site when his ISP went south. (Ian only surfaced on another web site to assure people he didn't die).So all that info that was there (including current owners around the world for Domestic, Federal and ROW cars) is lost in cyberspace.

Chris is setting up the wiki for us on www.lotuswiki.com - We can have special edition registers on there :)

Paul and Bibs,

I've just made contact with Ian and he said he made a complete image of the JPS site. He tried a resurrection once but that failed. So If either of you would like to speak with him about hosting the info from the JPS registry , it is still intact. Contact me off list and I'll put you in touch with him. I know a lot of people would be happy to see it back.

-Bob

Thanks Paul. We're on a pretty chunky dedicated server here with lots of space and bandwidth so makes sense to stick it on TLF. The offer is certainly appreciated though :)
