Thoughts on keying intermediate shaft and pulleys?

It always seems to be the intermediate shaft pulley bolt that works loose (when I took the engine out the bolt could be removed with finger pressure only)

When you consider the loads on the various pulley's it's the intermediate that is under the most stress as it has to drive 4 cams 32 valves at once , at least each camshaft only has to deal with it's own 8 valves a quarter of the intermediates load , and torqued up correctly there is the chance the cams can probably cope 

The shaft in now keyed as even doing the job myself I am the best part of £2500 out of pocket .
