steering arm to vertical link mounting bolts

Recommended Posts

Hi all guys,

I've lost some bolts moving the workshop...so now I'm reassembling the steering arm-dustshield to vertical links and I don't know which type of bolts I need.

They are the two special bolts with integral oval washer or just a normal bolts?

What size and thread they needs to be?

Thanks for your help.

Giorgio

PS: I think they are these?

Great, I've found the original T-Bolts.

For future reference, in case someone need them, they can be bought here:

http://www.ysn.de/start.htm

the bolts are obviously Opel ascona A parts as all the front suspension parts are.

Hi Vin,

no I've not bought any suspension bushes because the Ascona lower link bushes are only for the early S1 cars, they are conical and Lotus changed to an upgraded type of bushes, the Metalstick, also the lower arms are different for the late S1/S2 cars as they have a welded pivot sleeve.

If you need original Metalstick bushes RD and SJ list them.

Regarding the upper arm, they came as a replacement parts with all the bushes already fitted so I have bought a new pair of wishbones and paid less that than four replacement bushes...

Ciao

Giorgio
