Hi all,

I've had my Esprit for 10.5 years, and my M100 for 6 years now. I was on the Yahoo TEList for most of that time, but haven't been active for ages. I decided it was time to catch up with the rest of the crowd on TLF. Especially since LOG 32 is coming up and I'm sure to have questions as I get my Esprit sorted and ready for the trip. Not too long a drive from the panhandle to Orlando!

Additionally, I'll be in London in October and I'm planning a visit to the Lotus store and a run up to the factory for the tour. Is there still a discount for Lotus Ltd members? Richard Parramint still around?

Any other Lotus-related suggestions around London?

Richard is very much still around, his vocal talents strengthen on a daily basis too! There aren't any discounts for the tour that I'm aware of but it's only £30 so not expensive. In terms of Lotus sights in London, you can pop along to the original factory site however it's a builders merchant now so you need a lot of imagination to enjoy it, or you can pop along to Lotus night at the famous Ace Cafe, details of which you'll find in our London section.

I took the Richard Parramint tour in May 2011, it was a great time!

I also got to hang out with Bibs (above) for a few days. The UK guys are a great bunch!

I met Russ at LOG 27 in Aspen CO, great guy.

Bibs, thanks. Looks like I'll have to put Ace Cafe on the schedule. I'll be there 5-13 Oct and I see there's a Lotus 7 night.

Travis, good to hear from you and thanks for the pic. I was disappointed to see the factory doesn't do any driving packages in October, so I'm going to have to try to go back next summer. Are you headed this way for LOG?

Welcome to TLF ! Very nice car! (In germany rare oppurtunity to see an esprit on the street.....but today I saw three at the Lotus service)

-question concerning your photo stream- the red Evora S with black roof - was that the one they build for Dany Bahar? - I think it was advertised some months ago (before he "left" Lotus)

Snoopy, danke. I travelled through Germany many times in the USAF, and I never saw any Esprits on the street. I saw a few at Ramspott & Brandt garage near Frankfurt. They were very nice there, letting me check out the work going on and sold me some parts. I also met Marcus from PUK there and bought a #6 chip. He was very friendly, sharing knowledge, and chatting with him convinced me to do more business with him in the future.
