Two electrical problems

Recommended Posts

I am experiencing two electrical problems with my 1999 V8 that might be related to one another.

The first problem is a rapid flashing left front turn indicator. Normally this indicates that the lamp is broken, but it isn't. It works fine when I start the car. After driving for a while it starts to flash very rapidly.

The second problem is that I still hear noises coming through the speakers of my stereo, even after turning the stereo and car off and having removed the front of my stereo player.

Is the wiring of the newer V8 Esprits more or less complicated than the older ones?

Thanks

Has the vehicle ever underwent an aftermarket audio system installation? Has the original wiring ever been tampered?

There is a new stereo (JVC/Exad) in the car. I don't know if the wiring has been tampered with!

Can it be to much or too little power?
