Exige S Roadster

I'm really torn as to whether I like the cleaner Roadster or the spoiled aggressive look of the Coupe. I think I've made my mind up and then a lovely shot as above and I'm undecided again

Trevor.

I'll get around to it at some point.

One of the keys to the handling is the switchable exhaust valve. Err, ok.

The IPS / Paddle shift does not seem to be in the option list, does anyone know why?

Cheers

And isn't the steering unassisted?

That comment about the hydraulically assisted steering has now been removed from the review!

I thought I must have been reading a different review as I did not see anything to indicate assisted steering (and then saw Bibs second post about it being removed) but I didn't see anything about the switchable exhaust valve either?

Loads of magazine reviews online but not one single video and if ever a Lotus had the looks and sound for a good piece of high-res automotive pornography, it's the Exige Roadster!

Come on, someone ... anyone!?!

Roadster looked really fast going up the hill.

I think the pretty lines are misleading.

TLF are in Hethel tomorrow to review the Roadster. Anything you'd like us to ask the team up there?

Is Bethel near Hethel?

Do we need a point? Lets just enjoy it particularly in that colour but then I am biased. I agree in certain angles very Fezza 246 Dino. Er come to think of it, it wouldn't be so they can sell cars and make money would it?

I was being a bit cheeky as there was a thread asking what the point was given it was the same price as the coupe and you can just take the roof off. I actually really love the Exige Roadster. I think without the spoilers of the coupe it is one of the prettiest Lotus cars ever made. (Thats not to say I don't like the coupe) And in red I think its very pretty. I would love to see some vids of it.

It costs Lotus next to nothing to make and should probably find a few homes among those less keen on spoilers and confined spaces.

Perhaps Elise V6 would have been a (slightly) better name? If only to preserve the hardcore associations with the Exige line. Trouble is, everyone would have said "who are they kidding! it's just an Exige without the spoilers"! Either way, it's going to be a stunning thing to own. I totally see the 246 Dino similarities too.

You know the car must be good when all anyone complains about is the name!
