If The Finger and The Spaniard crash into each other for the next couple of races Kimi would be ideally placed to pick up the pieces.

Keke Rosberg only had the one win in his championship year, not until Round 14 too so there's still plenty of time AND Lotus have Roman Grosjean....

If they can only refine his talent for destruction and make sure he takes out the right cars Kimi might just have a sporting chance!

Just done some looking.

No is the answer but - Only two drivers have won a world championship while only winning a single race. They were Mike Hawthorn in 1958 and Keke Rosberg in 1982.

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!

Rindt won the 1970 championship after he tragically died a race or so before.

Has anyone been penalised and lost their trophy after they had won? Must be someone somewhen?
