A cooperation between Lotus Engineering and Aston Martin seems like business as usual and may be the "fact" behind this story. They surely have other partnerships also (Nissan on the 414e/emerge to name just one). Extrapolation this to a merger of Lotus Cars and Aston seems a bit far fetched.

On the other hand, the you could call the merged company "Bond Automotive" :2guns:

Well...

Next week I will be visiting Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd at their headquarters in Gaydon. Tempted to go in the Lotus but it currently isn't insured for business use :devil:

You may end up in a gravel car park and have to take a bus to the right building. But do it anyway!
