Vulcan Grey 251
Travis, What about cleaning them and treating them like the gas tanks? Art Its possible, but the rust is pretty extensive, and the tanks are difficult to clean. I was quoted $400 for stainless steel fabbed tanks. I can make my own out of two aluminum tanks for $200 maybe. Thinking Weapon R tanks... Quote Travis Vulcan Grey 89SE My Lotus Photo and Projects Album

matk 17
There's a quick mention of this coming from a Peugeot 205 on the parts Cross Reference Thread currently. Have a look there? Quote Regards Mat
Jonathan 13
Must admit I struggle to understand where the costs are for some of these parts - considering if you had welding capabilities you could butcher 2 units together to make 1 for very little. Other than that, anyone tried using the combined plastic (ie see through) tank used on the later cars ? I dont see any reason why it can't be used, there only seems to be 1 difference in the CC circuit where there is a T piece on the 2 tank system for the CC reservoir - other than that it looks like a direct port ? Change the T piece for a back to back connector, job done ? Reading through the manual there's nothing else changed... Quote facebook = [email protected]
