Evora sales figures

Recommended Posts

I'm sure i've seen a breakdown of sales figures by month, by model, by region somewhere, but I can't find it. Does anybody have the info?

No reason other than curiosity :)

Lotus wouldn't release that info, too commercially sensitive.

I'm sure I have seen it though! As if IIRC there were 7 Evora S models sold in the UK in 2011, which surprised me at how low that number was.

You're thinking of DVLA taxed car numbers I think which we had a post about a while ago.

The only people who release new cars sold info is the SMMT and that's not specific to the model?

Can't sell if you're not building and have nothing to deliver

Ah, I probably am! Don't suppose you can remember which thread that was in?

actually I was reading it wrong, mine is 1 of 7 made, but 1 of 3 currently on the road...

So that's 449 in total with 41 SORN. It's a UK site but are they UK figures only?

Mine's 1 of 5... common as muck then!

They are UK figures only, it's the total of cars that are taxed or SORN'ed.

I hope they're not all the same colour otherwise finding your car in carparks must be a nightmare!

:D I'm always coming back to find one parked either side...

I've only ever seen 3 on the road.. and that's including mine! I've seen a couple more at some meets but i'm guessing that doesn't count...
