mayevora 1,188
Does anybody know why my engine fan will come on when ignition is switched on. I am talking about even if the car is cold and has not been started for a couple of weeks? Usially coughs into life at the second or third time of asking but cooling fan comes on straight away. Any comments welcome. Thanks Ian Quote Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!
Jonathan 13
My SE has a fan prob atm - best guess is you've got a stuck relay - try pulling them out (the SE has 2, one fron and 1 back) and you'll see the problem. Then try changing the relay over for something else and see if you get the fault occur. Hopefully it's as silly as that and not as serious as mine Quote facebook = [email protected]

islandbloke 1
Also, could be your aircon is turned all the way up...try backing it off a little and see if that helps!
