Can't imagine any sort of acid would be suitable eg the vinegar.

What car is this for, what are you trying to do too?

Bibs it is white vinegar mied with olive oil.The white vinegar helps clean the leather .The olive oll softens the leather.

It's unlikely to be sealed, that all happened in 89 iirc. All the same, I'd not use any type of acid as it'll break down to proteins in the leather very quickly.

What's wrong with buying something to do the job? Gliptone's leather cleaner is out of this world and their feed smells amazing :)
