Might be high mileage compared with other Evora but still nothing for a 3.5ltr Toyota..

It’s also been regularly serviced by Lotus which helps.

This was one of the positives I told myself when offsetting the fact that my car had been driven 'carefully' by Bibs for a period of time! :)

It's well run in, I can assure you of that  We had an awesome run to Frankfurt and back in your car, it was a terrific trip!

The engine is pretty bombproof, I can't see them having any issues well into the higher mileages, 65,000 is not a lot as you say Trev.

I'm pretty sure neither this one or mine were driven like miss daisy was in the car during their early days, but when I was weighing up the pros and cons, I came to the conclusion that these cars are designed to be driven and as such, provided they are maintained by Lotus during that time they'll have been kept in top shape with expense not being a concern. I've certainly not had any problems with mine since owning it other than general known things, although my mileage is significantly lower. If anything the higher mileage has given the car a good shakedown!

I'd be interested to find out what that car drives like now. I wouldn't mind betting the engine is nice and free revving and also how the gear change feels.

Trevor.

From what I've read on here there's a broad range when it comes to gear change feel across different cars already

ha, I was referring more to this one for sale than mine, as I thought mine wasn't too high all things considered. Certainly I think now several people on here now have higher mileage then mine, but thanks anyway Bibs for your contribution to running mine in, shaking it down and generally just treating it with the respect/contempt (delete as applicable) that it deserved! :D

All the Evora's I had were treated as well as I'd treat my own car. Your car has £200/pot Zymol Concours wax on it! Lovely stuff :)

The same dealer has a similar spec car with 21,000 miles on it for £31k.

The other car seems cheap but it's big miles, not Lotus specialist, etc. £6k discount for an additional 44,000 miles.... is that enough?

Probably not actually, another couple off it I would think.

I thought it was very cheap and was about to start weeping if the market had dropped that much but the miles and the fact it's batty boy blue go along way to explain that!
