Jonathan 13
Interesting - made me have a look at mine on the race car today...mines broken too ! Might explain the nasty rubbing sound near the cam belt as well (hoping it might be the tensioner) Probably just clamp mine with a jubilee clip for the time being and make a bracket up at a later date. Good job ! Quote facebook = [email protected]
ragingfool35 24
had i known this was a common problem, i would have posted these pics 3 yrs ago. i used a 1/8" dia stainless steel rod, bent it to hook in the hose clamp and in the hole in the flat plate mounted to the frame. (did i make that plate? been too long to remember) but either way it only took a few minutes Edited August 14, 2006 by ragingfool35 Quote chris90SEjust because I don't CARE doesn't mean I don't UNDERDSTAND

Vulcan Grey 251
Very common. Mine was broken too. The only Esprit I've seen it not broken on, was a '91 X180-R with only 2,800miles (last September) Quote Travis Vulcan Grey 89SE My Lotus Photo and Projects Album
