Kimbers
So, my dad decided in his wisdom to walk down his stairs in his socks instead of bare feet or slippers. The inevitable happened and he fell down the stairs catching his leg in the bannisters on the way down and breaking his foot in 4 places. Unfortunately the break is so bad they are keeping him in to operate and possibly put plates into his foot. Either way he will be out of action for some time. I spoke to him last night and he assured me he still wants to attend the Xmas Party. But I will be bringing him down and staying with him now, to look after him. Time for a bungalow methinks! JLStrange
He deserves a better story than fell down the stairs. Are you sure it wasn't when he was running an international rally with Kimi and a deer ran across the road? Many decades back he replied to a question I had on my S1 Esprit here in the colonies (Portland, Oregon USA) and I was impressed he took the time to write. Get well soon.
