Bravo73
Possibly the same flight: “Particularly heart stopping photo of a Hawker Hunter of the Sultan of Oman 's Air Force beating up the base at Salalah. The Sultan employed mercenary Brit pilots to fly Hunters and Strikemasters to help put down the Dhofar rebels in the south. They clearly were bored from time to time! The rebellion ended in 1976, the same year I visited Oman “ More here: http://pippaettore.com/lowflying.html

I used to run BA exhibits at airshows. One year, during setup on the flight line the day before Biggin Hill, almost everybody shat themselves and hit the deck when a deafening roar seemed to happen out of nowhere. 2 Buccs, side by side, were hurtling down the runway at only a few feet more than that and broke at the end to complete a circuits and landing. Incredible sight. 1 Quote British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland. And Shitfaced Silly Sod to Sweden. Thankyou very much. Thankyou for flying and WIZZing with us today." Maybe WIZZing is what you would do if you looked out the window? yeller77
Not impossible, just takes Red Bull to add danger and make a show of it (80 year old Storch in a 20 knot wind could've probably done it too, favorite rescue vehicle for Nazis and Fascists)
LotusLeftLotusRight
I saw a Storch at Old Warden seven years ago. They’re bigger than you think. The new owner was just getting ready to fly it to its new home in Scandinavia.
